Principal's Corner

It is my honor to be the Principal of the Samuel R. Donald School.  I have had the good fortune to serve all 21 years of my career in education, right here in Bloomingdale! I began my career in the Walter T. Bergen Middle School as a 5th grade teacher. Over the next 12 years, I taught many different subject areas including language arts, social studies, and technology.  

 

I transitioned to the role of Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Technology for the Bloomingdale School District in 2016-2017 and served two years in that position before accepting the position of Principal of the Samuel R. Donald School.  As I start my 7th year as principal, I am just as excited and energized as I was on day one.  I look forward to working with families, students, and staff toward another positive school year.
