Principal's Corner

I am honored to serve as the Principal of the Samuel R. Donald School. My entire 21-year career in education has been rooted right here in Bloomingdale—a community I’m proud to call home. I began my journey at Walter T. Bergen Middle School as a 5th-grade teacher, where I spent 12 wonderful years teaching a variety of subjects, including language arts, social studies, and technology.

In the 2016–2017 school year, I transitioned to the role of Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Technology for the Bloomingdale School District. After two years in that role, I was thrilled to return to the school setting as the Principal of Samuel R. Donald School.

Now entering my 8th year as principal, I remain just as excited and inspired as I was on my very first day. I look forward to another great year of learning, growth, and partnership with our students, families, and staff. Together, let’s make this school year one filled with connection, curiosity, and success for every child.
